Egg on the Run
Cracked, whisked, scrambled,
Just call me Steady Eddie,
Ready for today’s omelette—
Breakfast at its finest.
You can beat me silly,
But it will not keep me
From being a good yolk,
Serving folks, faithfully,
Running this way and that.
Yes, I have my job to do,
A reputation worth upholding.
I bring the best to any table—
One blessed egg at a time.
